This Is Chagra
The chagra is just awesome! In simple terms, we might call it a traditional plantation, where some truly delicious foods are grown! But if we take an ethnographic approach, the chagra is the fundamental core of life for the Amazonian societies: eating. But here, eating means producing food as a family, while raising and educating children. It means enjoying nature and enduring its hardships. It means disciplining the body. One must learn to weave, to harvest larvae, to process fruits.
The universe of the chagra is also infinite.
